Michael Lewitt, MD
Dr. Lewitt is a board-certified dermatologist who moved to the Chicago area in August 2013. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from a six-year program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, obtaining both his bachelor’s degree and medical doctorate by the age of 24. He completed his internship in internal medicine at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center San Antonio in 2010. Dr. Lewitt then moved to back to his hometown of St. Louis, where he completed his residency in dermatology at Saint Louis University in 2013, serving as chief resident during his final year of post-graduate training. Dr. Lewitt sees patients of all ages. He practices general medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He has special interests in treating complex psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. He was named the Honorary Medical Chair for the National Psoriasis Foundation’s Chicago walk 2 consecutive years. Outside of work, Dr. Lewitt has a passion for animal rescue and holds a board position with a local no-kill shelter helping to raise funds and awareness for the cause.
