Neill Peters, MD
Dr. Peters is in private practice as a founding partner of Medical Dermatology Associates of Chicago in River North. He is a Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Peters completed b his undergraduate, medical school and Dermatology training at the University of Michigan. He has received multiple teaching awards at Northwestern as well as the Founders Award from the Chicago Dermatological Society recognizing Excellence in Clinical Dermatology and Teaching. Dr. Peters has a special interest in skin cancer screening, prevention, and management.
What to expect:
- Discuss the role of dermoscopy in Dermatology
- Review terminology used in dermoscopy
- Review the two-step algorithm used to differentiate melanocytic from non-melanocytic lesions
- Discuss pattern analysis used to determine benign vs. malignant melanocytic lesions
